'You're Drunk' If You Haven't Already Fallen In Love with Brandy Clark's New Single

A year after making a name for herself with the release of her Grammy nominated LP Big Day in a Small Town, Brandy Clark shares her talent with us once again with the release of her new single You’re Drunk. A sassy storyline about that friend who’s “just drunk… as a skunk,” the song quickly became a fan favorite at live shows.

Back on the road Clark started playing You’re Drunk, seeing the song’s success with fans in a similar light to how they embraced her song Three Kids No Husband.

“It’s such a different song than, say, Three Kids No Husband, but like that song, I didn’t realize how much the audience loved it until I played You’re Drunk live,” Clark explains. “Their response is so exciting; I’m happy to now have it available for the fans asking, ‘Where can I hear this?’”

The song features a full band including upright bassist Vanessa McGowan, whose playing adds a sense of excitement. Also behind the making of You’re Drunk, Josh Osborne and Shane McAnally, who collaborated with Clark during the songwriting process.
