Originally from a rural farm in the UK, Emma Reeves didn’t grow up with country music. For her it was punk rock and Avril Lavine who inspired her to not only listen to music but produce it. Drawn to lyrics that make you feel something, Emma quickly became a fan of country music when Taylor Swift started playing in the UK. Her writing reflects that, often starting with a hook and a personal story.
Her latest release “Sleepwalking” is about being blindsided in a relationship and not knowing how to deal with your emotions. The song develops into a story of what could’ve been and is relatable to many. You can hear Emma’s music on steaming sites or her website here.
