Originally from Arizona, Christie Huff’s music blends the soulful sounds of county with pop. Often in Nashville, Christie has had the opportunity to collaborate with other country artists. In fact, on her YouTube page Christie has introduced a segment called Christie’s Couch Session, where she meets with another artist to perform an original, cover, or mashup.
Now located in the Los Angeles area, Christie has had the opportunity to perform at a variety of famous venues including The Hotel Cafe and The Viper Room. Additionally, she’s been asked to open for acts such as Bebe rexha, Ashley Monroe, and Chris Bandi.
Writing as a way to express her own experiences, Christie’s latest single “Urban Love” talks about millennial romance. Quickly picked up by Spotify, “Urban Love” can be found of their Wild Country Playlist.
In the future, Christie was to continue to grow her fanbase and headline a tour. For more on Christie find her on social media at @christiehuffmusic.
I am currently a student at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles as a marketing major. Upon realizing that I wanted to change the way people perceive country music and to help women have a voice, I began The Women of Country in 2015 promoting new female artists and sharing their stories with the world.
