An army brat, Kris Londyn has been everywhere and has done everything. Originally from Beaumont, Texas Kris grew up in the presence of country music and felt a connection with the sounds and stories of legends Shania Twain and Whitney Hudson. Later moving from Germany to Louisiana and finally finding herself in sunny Los Angeles, Kris signed with Atlantic Records.
There she began to write her own music inspired by her own life experiences. Kris knows that you have to get through bad times to find the good and hopes her music inspires others to always keep moving forward. Kris herself has overcome discrimination as an african american female country music artist and believes that if she can empower others, she’ll get through any challenge she may face along the way. Wanting to learn how to express herself and her emotions, Kris began a career in acting. Kris describes acting as a surreal moment where she is able to portray another role, yet become that role herself. Kris has even landed big roles in shows such as Blackish, The Muppets, and the new series Dear White People which speaks of diversity on college campuses. As for now, Kris plans to focus on her music career. Recently Kris released her single Miranda which tells of a women angry about a recent breakup who believes she has the right to destroy all her ex’s belongings. From listening to her new single, Kris wants to inspire others to not let their emotions consume them. In the future, Kris is excited to release more music including a single titled Bless Your Heart coming soon!
