Meet Joselyn & Don, Montana natives now living in Los Angeles where they first met in 2000. Joselyn, as the songwriter and Don, the musician, the two complement each other perfectly. Joselyn writes about her personal journey and connection with nature. Don has spent his life playing the trumpet and more recently learning to play the guitar and ukulele. A blend of both their backgrounds, their sound is one of a kind. Categorized as Americana, Don summed it up best as a genre where “you can be from anywhere and pick any sound that speaks to you.”
Their debut album “Soar” does just that. Rooted in Americana, the album takes the listener on a roller coaster of emotions and imagery. The duo especially spoke to “Storm,” a song to reflect on climate change. In fact, the duo dedicated the music video to firefighters and fire victims. A call to action, the duo hopes to make a difference in the world. Now hosting livestreams from their in-home studio, Joselyn & Don are staying engaged with their audience. Sharing their music to Americana radio and Spotify playlists, they are excited to hear the response. For more, you can find them on Facebook at @JoselynandDon and on their website here.
