 Fun-loving Twinnie has finally made the move to Music City, where she had her US Radio debut and is building on the success of her inaugural American label EP 'Welcome to the Club' which racked up over 22 million streams. As a songwriter she has a diverse catalog, writing for artists such as Kylie Minogue, Bryan Adams, The Shires and Lvndscape. She is also an accomplished creative director having won best Short Film at the British Short Film Awards.
Hard at work on new music, Twinnie released her EP “Just Like Earle” on the first of the month. Written from the heart and a broken heart at that, the title track is a sequel to The Chicks’ hit “Goodbye Earle”. “The only place where murder is legal is in a song.” she laughs. “This EP explores the various stages of grief we experience after a breakup, whether personal or business. I wanted to inject some lighthearted, humorous relief into the ‘sad girl’ era I’ve been in.” The EP shines a spotlight on her creative storytelling, strong vocals, and unique blend of her pop and country influences. “Just Like Earle” will be followed by another EP titled, “Blue Hour”. Inspired by the time of day, it speaks of the change in emotions from sad to happy. With a dreamy melody and nostalgic lyrics, she sings, “The memory of a love that I once knew. I confess that I’m a mess, because I still get blue over you.” Set for release at the end of this year, “Blue Hour” will serve as a healing tool, along with her global music collective, I KNOW A WOMAN. I KNOW A WOMAN was created to prioritize mental health and provide basic health benefits to artists and songwriters, primarily women who she’s seen firsthand be taught to be competitive rather than collaborative. Despite the name, I KNOW A WOMAN, caters to everyone to offer an empowering space to be seen, heard, and supported.
