The Heels comprised of Bobbi Smith, Brittni Dominelli, and Kyla Rawlins will release their full-length debut album Love, Heels on May 25 bringing their lush three-part harmonies, sassy lyrics and unforgettable melodies to the masses. The fiercely independent group has been garnering attention since winning a B.C. Country Music Association Emerging Artist Award in 2016 and releasing their debut single Come Around the following year.
Created with the help of a team of top-notch producers Carly & Darren Savard, Anthony Fiddler & Clint Van Blanken. Love, Heels builds on the trio’s distinctive sound that has drawn comparisons to artists such as The Dixie Chicks, Fleetwood Mac, Wilson Phillips, The Band Perry and Little Big Town. However, there are few powerhouse vocal trios in the Canadian country music scene on the same level as The Heels. Their focus is clear to make music both profound and timeless, as evidenced by Love, Heels’ first single He’s Not Where I’m Going. Says the band, “Love, Heels is a colorful collection of songs we have written together to lift and empower ourselves and our listeners. This album was a collaborative journey of discovery; establishing our own sound by layering our unique abilities and staying true to our vision of three voices uniting in harmony to #HeelTheWorld from start to finish.”
