Raised in Charleston, independant artist Haley Mae Campbell took advantage of the popular tourist spot often taking the chance to perform at festivals and even opening for artists such as Easton Corbin. Though she was unsure of which genre her music was associated with, Haley found herself drawn to the storytelling aspect of country music. Haley writes about her own relationships and aspires to create songs that are relatable and impacting.
Inspired by Jana Kramer for her sweet and personable stage presence as well as her ability to open up with her fans, Haley has built up the confidence to make the move to Nashville this year upon the release of her new single ‘Lose My Number.’
After learning that you must “say yes to any opportunity that comes your way,” Haley has worked with many radio stations hoping for some air time. In 2017 Haley plans to take on the challenge of making a music video and going on tour.
So make sure to pre order Haley’s newest release ‘Lose My Number’ via iTunes and start requesting Haley’s music to your local radio stations or by tagging @sxmthehighway.
I am currently a student at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles as a marketing major. Upon realizing that I wanted to change the way people perceive country music and to help women have a voice, I began The Women of Country in 2015 promoting new female artists and sharing their stories with the world.
