Have your Top Down and cruise while listening to the duo Brown and Gray. Made up of Texas-born and Nashville-raised artist Kaci Brown and London’s Sam Gray, the duo is ready to take the country music world by storm.
For Kaci music choose her. With female artists from Trisha Yearwood to Kacey Musgraves and Carly Pearce to look up to, Kaci is confident in what she can accomplish as a female artist. Sam began his career in music by playing the violin. Later learning how to play the guitar, Sam formed a band in college and has been pursuing music ever since. Though exposed to a variety of genres, Sam couldn’t be more grateful to have met Kaci who introduced him to country music. Falling in love with the genre’s ability to share the real stuff, the duo Brown and Gray reflects personal stories in their music.
This summer Brown and Gray will be hitting the road. Thrilled to connect with audiences across the nation and perhaps become best friends with fellow performers Adam Doleac and Ashley McBryde, you’re not going to want to miss seeing these two perform. In fact the duo was asked to perform at this year’s Stagecoach Festival on SiriusXM’s Spotlight Stage and will be taking over our Instagram story for all of you who are unable to make it.
Working on their debut EP, Brown and Gray are ready to take the next step in their journey as artists. So find their single Top Down on iTunes, YouTube, and on Spotify’s Wild Country playlist and follow the duo Brown and Gray via social media at @BrwnandGray.
I am currently a student at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles as a marketing major. Upon realizing that I wanted to change the way people perceive country music and to help women have a voice, I began The Women of Country in 2015 promoting new female artists and sharing their stories with the world.
