Kerri Watt’s highly anticipated album Neptune’s Daughter drops this Friday, January 15th. The album will include twelve original songs and six bonus tracks. The album was produced by renowned metal producer, Machine. The album blends rock, Americana, and pop for a unique sound popular with a wide variety of audiences. The lyrics are inspired by real and fictional stories, Watt exclaiming “It feels like years of work and passion are coming to fruition and I'm finally getting to share a full body of work. There's some really fun, light tracks mixed with darker moments, and scattered throughout are a few subtle references to some of my musical heroes that I'm hoping fans will have fun picking out! After years of experimenting with different sounds and ideas, I've written a piece that I hope will have something for every kind of person and be the positive start we all need for 2021.”
Kerri began her career in dance and musical theatre. At the age of nine, she picked up the guitar and has been playing ever since. In 2019, she supported Keith Urban during his sellout O2 Show and has performed at various stages in the Country 2 Country Festival. Kerri performs both acoustic and full band shows, admiring them both. During the pandemic, Kerri has been hosting livestreams and a covers session on YouTube. During the holidays she held a Christmas broadcast to promote the album and tell fans the story behind the songs. Follow Kerri on social media @kerriwatt and pre-order “Neptune’s Daughter” here.
