(Los Angeles, CA; August 17, 2020) - Growing up in the small town of Warkworth, Ontario music became a way of life for Sacha. Along with her identical twin, she learned to play the piano and would perform endlessly for their parents. In 2011, after her company had went under Sacha went all in on the music career she always wanted. “There has always been a deep conviction in my heart to follow the path of music. It’s been present since I can remember and has never let me get away from it. I can’t quite compare anything to that of my enthrallment for music and making a career out of it.”
Now writing her own music, Sacha shares some of her innermost thoughts and experiences in her songs. Recently on July 24th, Sacha released her EP The Best Thing. Produced by CCMA nominee Dan Swinimer plus songwriters Kelly Prescott, Madeline Merlo, and Tenille Townes among others, The Best Thing has a fresh new sound. Moving on, Sacha hopes to inspire other women of color in country music to follow their dreams saying “I realize that as an under-represented woman of color in a male dominated genre, presents a unique opportunity for me to be a pioneer in the country music industry where I can contribute to the areas of diversity in hopes of other aspiring country artists having a fair and equal chance to pursue their dream and find a place in this genre.” You can listen to Sacha’s music on all streaming platforms and find her on her website here.
