With goals true to her spirit, rising Country singer-songwriter Danielle Johnson is wrapping up an exciting summer of “firsts.” After recently signing a booking deal with Kosson Talent, the ambitious young artist’s future is looking bright.
The newcomer’s debut track Let It Be You is now available through all streaming platforms and digital retailers. The song was co-written by Johnson along with Jennifer Denmark and Briana Tyson and was produced by Grammy Award-winning producer, Guy Eckstine. This is Johnson’s light-hearted and authentic introduction to the Country music scene. Let It Be You illustrates the relatable truth of blurred lines in relationships between ‘just friends’ and ‘something more.’ “My co-writers and I were discussing how sometimes friends turn into something more and that is how this song came to be. It was so fun to write about something that is so common yet exciting and risky,” said Johnson about the track. To coincide with the release, Johnson recently premiered the official music video for Let It Be You on Roughhstock.com. Directed by Brian Harstine, the video stars Johnson along with on-screen love interest Gunnar Kallas, and unravels the story of a high school romance. Johnson Commented, “I am so excited about the release of ‘Let It Be You!’ This track is upbeat, catchy and always puts a smile on my face. I had so much fun filming the music video for this song and I am so happy I get to share it!” As Johnson begins rehearsals for her upcoming tour dates she is also gearing up for the release of her debut self-titled EP set for release Oct. 3, 2018.

It helped when you said that rehearsals are one of the keys to successful performances. My sister loves country music and she told me that she is looking for new artists that she can listen to. She asked if I had any suggestions. Thanks to this useful musical article, I'll tell her she can try the romantic country music artist that I know as they are suitable for a variety of ages.
