Shari Rowe has released her latest song! “Last Time” can be heard here. This song differs from the norm of what Rowe normally puts out. “I went into co-write and tossed around ideas. I am and my music is very sentimental, and we went the opposite with this song and flipped the coin. This song is about fictional character who lives on the edge. It’s very tongue and cheek”. Rowe co-wrote the song with Willie Morrison (Ashland Craft and Brothers Osborne) and it was produced by Jamie Tate (John Prine, Miranda Lambert, and Sheryl Crow). “Songwriters have taught me so much about who I am and who I want to be as an artist and as a songwriter”.In addition to performing her own shows, Shari has opened up for some of the biggest names in country music. “I’ve been very fortunate to open up for some of the best in this genre. Recently, I got to open for Jimmie Allen who is amazing with an energy level like I have never seen. Another artist who I opened for was Wynonna Judd at the Fox Theater in Tucson, Arizona. She is legendary in this genre”.
While Rowe has opened up for many artists, she took the stage at Country Thunder Arizona in October 2021 with her own set! “When I am performing, I love engaging with the crowd and drawing on their energy. Even if I am performing just one song, you can still connect with the audience”. Artists like Ashley McBryde, Luke Combs, and Eric Church played the festival as well. Shari grew up in Arizona riding horses and camping with her family. While her family was not musical, music always came naturally to Rowe. “Music was always natural to me. When I did some performing as a child, I found it healing, therapeutic, and it just evolved naturally for me. I started to build relationships in the industry, and it has actually been 10 years now from when I put out my first country project”. Shari wants aspiring artists to know that “if you know that this is your gift and want to bring it to the world, you have to know that you will hear more no’a than yes’. Be the kind of person and artist that you want to hear. Learn from the best and don’t stop.” The calendar is filling up with shows and along with that comes more music from Rowe!
