Lauded by Billboard as the “Next Hot Trend in Country Music” and likened to The Chicks for a new generation, BBR Music Group/Wheelhouse Records trio Runaway June will spread holiday cheer to troops across the globe through a virtual “When I Think About Christmas” concert presented by Armed Forces Entertainment.
Due to Covid-19, this is the first year, in decades, troops overseas and in the U.S. will not be entertained during the holidays. Armed Forces Entertainment teamed up with Runaway June to change that and organized a virtual concert dedicated to deployed service men and women. The concert was filmed before a live audience for families of Tennessee National Guard and 5th Special Forces Group at the Ray Stevens CabaRay Showroom. A special treat at the end of the concert features children from the military audience on stage singing “Jingle Bells” with Runaway June. “When I Think About Christmas” is an original virtual concert available Friday, December 11th, 2020 through Saturday, January 2, 2021 exclusively on the Armed Forces Entertainment YouTube Channel.
