Following in the footsteps of her late cousin Glen Campbell, artist Miller Campbell brings honkey tonk to the Pacific Northwest with the release of her debut album Sweet Whiskey. Featuring a variety of tracks including All Summer’s Breaking Loose which is sure to put you on your feet and Sweet Whiskey which reflects Miller’s impressive vocal range; her debut album has the ability to reach a wide audience.
This album to Miller reflects her own life experiences and takes a more traditional route featuring sounds of the fiddle and banjo. Having suffered from the lost of her brother John, Miller wrote One Step in his memory. “He was autistic, and my absolute soulmate” relates Campbell. “He was the life and soul of the project and the only reason I began work on this record. Without his encouragement, belief, and memory, I just can't imagine having the courage to do this.” Miller hopes the album, which was released last November and recorded at London Bridge Studio in Seattle, “shows the world what country music in the Pacific Northwest is really all about!” Never one to hold back any emotions, Miller announced that “I hope that people get a genuine feel for who I am from this record. It truly follows the story of my last year and a half, which I think is something a lot of modern records lack.” So listen to Sweet Whiskey available now on iTunes and Spotify and on her website at www.millercampbell.com.
