Triple-threat Kasey Lansdale is always focused on the next project. A singer-songwriter, author, and actress, Kasey found her place in the melting pot that is Los Angeles. Originally from Texas, her roots are embedded in country music. Growing up to Martina McBride and Reba, she writes music from personal experiences, or those things she hears around her. Her song “Good Girl” is a direct reflection of that.
Geared up for the release of the film “All Hail the Popcorn King,” she’ll be performing during its LA premiere on February 16th. The film celebrates her father’s contributions to the worlds of literature and entertainment through interviews with his many colleagues and fans including Bruce Campbell, Joe Hill, Mick Garris, David J Schow, James Purefoy, Yuri Lowenthal, Keith, Kasey and Karen Lansdale, Brian Keene, Del Howison, Amber Benson and Christopher Golden. An engaging performer, Kasey encourages fans to interact with her. In fact, her residency at Mixology 101 at the Grove has allowed her to try out new songs and sounds on different audiences to get their reactions. Not in Los Angeles? You can also watch Kasey on an upcoming reality show premiering on the USA Network within the year.
