Former contestant on The Voice, Natalie Stovall, has joined Runaway June. Stovall will be replacing member Hannah Mulholland. Stovall joines Runaway June with a long list of accomplishments already behind her! Her former band, The Drive, has performed over 200 dates each year. Stovall is a Tennessee native who made her Grand Ole Opry debut at the young age of 12, stunning the world with her incredible fiddle playing. She has performed everywhere from military bases, festivals, the White House and even The Oprah Winfrey Show.
Stovall has previously toured with Bobby Bones and The Raging Idiots. She has been named one of CMT’s “Next Women of Country” and has been awarded “Best Female Artist” and “Best Music Artist” by Campus Activities Magazine. In an Instagram post on May 15th, Stovall said , “Let the adventure begin!!! I am SO excited to finally let y’all in on what’s been going on!!! The American Country music trio consisting of Jennifer Wayne, Naomi Cooke, and Natalie Stovall will continue to release organic three-part harmonies that have them likened to the ‘Dixie Chicks’ for a new generation. Naomi Cooke is lead vocals and guitars. Jennifer Wayne, granddaughter of John Wayne, is also vocal and guitar. Natalie Stovall will be adding her vocals and fiddling talent to the trio. Runaway June is the first all-female trio in over sixteen years to have a top five hit on Country Radio. The original trio released their self-titled EP in 2018 which featured their singles, “Wild West” and “Buy My Own Drinks.” They opened for Carrie Underwood alongside Maddie & Tae on the Cry Pretty Tour 360. Their debut album, Blue Roses, was released in 2019 and scored a nod from Rolling Stone and Paste Magazine as one of the best Country and Americana albums of 2019.
