Powerhouse at just 18, Presley Tennant is quickly making a name for herself in country music. Appearing on season 16 of The Voice Presley, with the help of coach Kelly Clarkson, found her way back to country music. Inspired by the vocals of Carrie Underwood, the lyrics of Miranda Lambert, and the sounds of Chris Stapleton, Presley describes her music as contemporary country with an old soul. Now working on her debut EP, she has been traveling back and forth from Norco to Nashville working with top producers including Kent Wells, Chuck Rhodes, and Buddy Hyatt. Off the upcoming album, Presley released “Temporary.” About falling for someone and having to say goodbye soon after, listeners can surely relate.
Presley is grateful to have had the opportunity to perform at local stages including Boots in the Park and Subaru Country Freedom Festival. Telling us “I feel most at home when performing, it’s comfortable on stage,” Presley has shared the stage with Tim McGraw, Clare Dunn, Tyler Rich, and Honey County. In addition to music, Presley is proud to be an ambassador for the S.O.S. Foundation. Dedicated to help kids facing mental adversities, the foundation provides mental health counseling and assistance. Lending her talents, Presley will be performing a virtual concert for the foundation on December 24th. Stay tuned for Presley’s debut album by following her on social media at @presleytennant and on her website here.
