Meet Autumn Nicholas, who released her single "Not Gonna Do This Anymore" on April 15th. The song was written with Lauren Michael Sellers and produced by Grady Saxman at Saxman Studios. It blends pop and Americana melodies that compliment Autumn's strong vocals effortlessly.
Since moving to Nashville in April 2021, Autumn pretty quickly a regular fixture. She was invited to join the Song Suffragettes in late May and performed at their 8th Anniversary party on March 28th alongside Kalie Shorr, Kelsea Ballerini, Emily Brooke, and more. Through Song Suffragettes, she was able to open for RaeLynn as part of her Ole Red Residency, and it’s also where she met Madeline Finn, her tour partner for their Nashville Stories Tour which kicked off at the end of March for 14 dates. She’s also started to receive invites to songwriter festivals. Last year, she played at Dripping Springs and Muscle Shoals and this year, so far, has been invited back to Dripping Springs and will play at NC Folk Festival, Newport Folk Festival, Whitefish Songwriter Festival, BMI’s Island Hopper Songwriter Festival, and at the Franklin Pride Festival in June of this year. Recently, she’s also been on the road with The Black Opry, playing shows in Philadelphia, Washington DC and Boston. Finally, she hosts her own curated writers’ round at Tennessee Brew Works every month called Be AN Original. In February, she hosted two featuring BIPOC artists as part of Black History Month and in June will host two featuring LGBTQ+ artists. Stay in touch with Autumn on her website HERE.
