Pop-country singer Madysyn started singing before she could talk. Growing up in California, she was first introduced to the stage by her dad at the age of five to perform a Christmas duet. By the time she was twelve, her dad posted a clip of her singing and it went viral. From there she knew she wanted to pursue a career in music. Raised on country music, but also idols John Meyer and Tori Kelly, Madysyn’s sound is her own. Her music tells her story and often starts with a title in mind. During the pandemic, Madysyn has been able to write a new song every day and looks forward to releasing an EP in 2021. In the meantime, listen to her latest single “Girlfriend.” An upbeat song to instill confidence in a relationship, Madysyn hopes it can raise people’s spirits saying -- “Music is undeniably powerful in the way that it brings people together when they need it the most. With everything going on in the world right now, I hope that this song and video can raise people’s spirits.” To accompany the release, Madysyn premiered the music video on April 2nd.
