 New Artist Lily Garland sets out to bring country music to the United Kingdom with the launch of her second EP The Next Chapter. Recorded at Kore Studios in London with the help of her producer Justin johnson, the Next Chapter showcases Lily’s powerful vocals and raw emotion. With a soulful ballad as well as an upbeat tune Lily’s music has the ability to impress anyone.
Inspired by women in country artists Carrie Underwood and Miranda lambert, Lily similarly writes all her songs based upon her own experiences. For Lily songwriting is great therapy a way to reflect on the good and the bad times. In the debate about old country versus new, Lily takes the stance on country music as being defined by the story by the heart felt lyrics and the catchy melodies rather than the twang of one’s vocals. Releasing the EP today June 16th, Lily invites her fans to Studio 2 on Parr Street this Saturday to celebrate her success with her. As for the summer Lily will be on tour performing in Liverpool, Portsmouth, and London accompanied by her band.
