With a push from her grandmother who was a member of the musical theatre industry, Liddy Clark’s interest in singing began when she performed Colors of the Wind at her school’s talent show. Realizing her talent as a singer, Liddy’s parents offered to pay for vocal lessons and enroll her in music theatre productions. By the age of 13, Liddy had begun playing the guitar often covering songs by her idols John Mayer and Taylor Swift.
Now a songwriter as well, Liddy demonstrates her creativity in her music. However her latest single Shot Down tells of her own emotional experience after the shootings in Parkland where Liddy grew up. Attending school at USC, Liddy is open to collaborating with fellow students and will start performing acoustic sets at venues in the area. In fact, Liddy has agreed to perform during our Change the Day for Girls Concert Series at the Lighthouse Cafe in Hermosa Beach. More details to follow. Hear Liddy’s music on streaming platforms everywhere including her rendition of “Do You Hear What I Hear” on our Holiday Playlist here.
