Inspired by the memories and the story of a man who dealt with depression and later took his own life, artist Angela Meyer aspires to honor him through her music in the hopes to bring awareness to issues of bullying and depression. Interested in music at a young age, Angela went to state fairs to watch her mother’s band perform and began writing her own music in high school. Having listened to country music as a child, Angela found country music’s honesty and storytelling suited her most. Knowing country isn’t just all songs about drinking, Angela’s original music often tells of real life experiences which she often finds humor in.
Her most recent release “Wish It Was You” is most special to Angela, written in memory of former Canadian bull rider Ty Pozzobon who took his own this this past December after having battled with depression. Telling of Ty’s memories and life accomplishments, she hopes people are able to sympathize with his story. Releasing “Wish It Was You” as her first single, Angela was pleased to receive positive feedback and over 7,000 views on her original video. Donating the proceeds from the song to the Ty Pozzobon Foundation which assists rodeo athletes with mental illness, Angela encourages as many people as possible to purchase her single in support of Ty’s cause.
So make sure to click here and purchase “Wish It Was You” to hear yet another magical song while helping to save the lives of those struggling with mental illness across the globe.

haring the article, and more importantly, your personal experience mindfully using our emotions asdcav data about our inner state and knowing when it’s better to de-escalate by taking a time out are great tools. Appreciate you reading and sharing your story since I can certainly relate and I think others can to
