Though singing has always been a major part of Bria Wilson’s life, she didn’t pursue a music career until she was an adult. Realizing that music kept her going, Bria followed in the footsteps of her idols Reba and Miranda Lambert writing her first song Too Soon in honor of her father’s passing.
With a pop-country sound, Bria has become accustomed to the contemporary style of country music. Wanting her own edge, Bria strives to create music that is easy to dance along to and reflects her own stories. Bria’s latest release Deal Breaker reflects her attitude towards immature boys who think too highly of themselves.
This year Bria wants to travel playing as many gigs as she can. So check out her new single on YouTube here and follow Bria on social media at @ItsBriaWilson.
I am currently a student at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles as a marketing major. Upon realizing that I wanted to change the way people perceive country music and to help women have a voice, I began The Women of Country in 2015 promoting new female artists and sharing their stories with the world.
