Although only 14-years old Queeva’s positive outlook on life has her standing out above the rest. Introduced to country music by her father who played country in the car, Queeva was quick to fall in love with the sounds and songs of Dolly Parton and LeeAnn Womack. At the age of nine, Queeva took to the stage for the first time and hasn’t looked back since.
Now performing all around Nashville, Queeva has gained a large following. A songwriter as well, Queeva writes songs which are relatable as well as inspiring. In her latest single Live Like a Song, Queeva reflects on what music means to her. With a traditional country sound Queeva’s voice is sure to surprise you.
As for the future Queeva hopes to play at the Grand Ole Opry and release an album of her own. For now you can find Queeva’s music on iTunes and Spotify or on her website at http://queevamusic.com/.
I am currently a student at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles as a marketing major. Upon realizing that I wanted to change the way people perceive country music and to help women have a voice, I began The Women of Country in 2015 promoting new female artists and sharing their stories with the world.
