A loud child who wasn’t afraid to belt out the words to every song she came across, Kylie Hughes has always been known as the singer in her family. Able to pick up the lyrics to a song after only hearing it once, Kylie was quick to pursue singing covers of all her favorite tracks. With a father who appreciated the sounds of a classic guitar, Kylie was able to pick up the instrument quite quickly for a young girl.
Inspired by music from the early 2000’s, Kylie finds herself often writing about boys as well as rewriting experiences of her own. Kylie’s debut album tells of her journey from start to finish leaving her listeners surprised by her unique sound and never bored. Wanting to enter the music scene with a bang, Kylie’s first single Heat is the perfect summer anthem as well as introduction to who Kylie is as an artist. Sassy and upbeat, Heat was quick to attract a large audience allowing Kylie to set off on tour this summer. Promoting the release of her new single, Kylie filmed the music video for Heat upon being inspired by the movie Talladega Nights. Filmed on California’s Irwindale Speedway, the video doesn’t hold back anything and neither does Kylie who sure turned up the heat while filming. Patiently waiting for her big break, Kylie will be off to Nashville as well as touring around the LA area this upcoming fall. As for now you can find Kylie’s music on Soundcloud and on her website at http://www.kyliehughesmusic.com/.
