Never good at sports, KTG stepped onto the stage and knew she was interested in pursuing music. Knowing the challenges she may face as an artist, KTG took a full-time teaching job and runs her own music school. Looking up to the drive of Emili Sande, she’s ready to do it all.
Starting off KTG wrote about her friends, however finding confidence in herself she is showing her more vulnerable side writing from her own experiences. With her debut album having dropped on September 26th, KTG is excited to hear what people have to say about her music. Each song on the album is lined to a line of a rhyme, such as “Don’t Tell My Mother.”
All of KTG’s music can be found on her website www.ktgmusic.org and on her social media pages @KTG_Music_Ire.
I am currently a student at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles as a marketing major. Upon realizing that I wanted to change the way people perceive country music and to help women have a voice, I began The Women of Country in 2015 promoting new female artists and sharing their stories with the world.
