Kathryn Shipley is excited to announce that she has won for Music Video of The Year (Female-Category) for her song "This Will Always Be My Town", written by Ronnie Stoops and for Christian/Gospel Song of The Year, "Your Love is Enough" written by Drew Miller and Kiersten Rose. The 6th annual Josie Music Awards was held on September 5th at The Country Tonite Theatre in Pigeon Forge, TN. The much talked about video, was shot and produced by Dylan Hetelle, CEO of Peak Media, which also won for Videographer of the year, based on professional "works".
The 2020 Josie Music Awards received over 30,000 submissions. Kathryn was honored with 7 nominations. Kathryn says "The Blessings have continued since I started this journey in 2016, to commit my passion to music, it is not about the wins, but it is about the people who cross my path and what I learn from them, and what I hope I can give in return, truly no words what this year's show has meant to me" "This Will Always Be My Town" has been viewed over 15,000 times on You Tube. "Your Love Is Enough" has been viewed over 5,000 times and can also be seen on the CMT network and both videos are in heavy rotation for viewing on the TCN Country Network in Nashville. Kathryn Shipley (St Charles, MO) and Louisiana, Mo native is an amazing vocalist, that is driven to help and inspire any up and coming artist. She performs and writes for Country and Inspirational music. She has been nominated numerous times for her music and has won several awards. Kathryn is heavily involved in volunteer work at her church from working on the production team, online hosting and a new addition leading worship for the Celebrate Recovery group. She is also a spokesmodel for a new cosmetic line called 'Confidently Ready,' by Josie Passantino, and serves as an Ambassador for "Just Strong" in the UK and "Lane Boots" in Texas. Kathryn is recording a new Christmas song called, "Oh what a King" written by award winning songwriter Corey Lee Barker of Nashville and Tery Wayne (Nashville) she is excited to be back with her other Nashville team of Music Producer Daniel Dennis (2-time Josie Music Award nominee) and background vocalist, Billboard charting singer Angela Hurt. She will record her vocals here in O'fallon Missouri with Engineer/Producer Quentin Stephenson. Shipley also has several other collaborations in the works to kick off 2021.
