Coming from two vastly different worlds, artist Jenna Paulette has developed a unique sound taking from traditional country as well as the upbeat sounds of the city. With a mother who was a rancher, Jenna grew up listening to the Dixie Chicks and George Strait. However as a teenager, Jenna found an appreciation for pop music and moved to the city attending the Savannah College of Art and Design.
Often writing of her own experiences with finding and falling out of love, Jenna’s music is relatable. Featuring a pop-country sound, Jenna is a contemporary artist who’s not afraid to incorporate the sound of the steel guitar in her music. Having moved to Nashville, Jenna has discovered that a song is more brilliant when written with others. Recently Kalie Shorr invited Jenna to be a part of Times Up, the song that preaches for equal opportunity for women in the music industry. Along with 22 other female artists, Jenna hopes that the song’s release will encourage the music industry to recognize the lack of women on the radio, at award shows, and on the charts. Following her latest single Coolest Girl in the World, Jenna plans to release another love song titled ILYSM (I Love You So Much). This modern love story is sure to have you saying “aw.” So check out Coolest Girl in the World via iTunes and Spotify and follow Jenna at @JennaPaulette on Twitter and Instagram for more new music news to come.
