Jade Helliwell shares her journey into the spotlight with the release of her new EP. Just nine years old, Jade shared the stage with her family at a karaoke bar and hasn’t looked back since. Choosing to learn how to play the guitar, songwriting followed soon after. Inspired by the songs of early Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood, Jade’s music falls in the contemporary country category.
As a songwriter Jade wants to convey her story in her music. Writing from a place of honesty Jade isn’t afraid to share of hard times in her career. Her latest EP Forget the Night includes 5 tracks all of which connect to one another.
Currently residing in England, Jade has had the opportunity to perform at the C2C Music Festival as well as at local bars in the London area.

I am currently a student at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles as a marketing major. Upon realizing that I wanted to change the way people perceive country music and to help women have a voice, I began The Women of Country in 2015 promoting new female artists and sharing their stories with the world.
