Ingrid Andress is preparing to drop her debut album Lady Like on March 27th. The album will feature the hit single “More Hearts Than Mine” that charted on Billboard Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay Charts. Andress signed with Warner Nashville in 2018, however she has been writing for the stars for much longer.
Originally from Denver, Colorado, Andress grew up homeschooled. She was born into a large family and did not adhere to the norm of traditional definitions. “I’m not trying to be a rebel, BUT I am putting myself on the line, because that’s who I am. The goal is to connect to people, and that moment is all I want” says Andress. She then went on to graduate with a degree in music composition from the Berklee College of Music and perfomed on NBC’s a cappella singing competition, The Sing-Off. After moving to Nashville, her songwriting skills showed exceptionally bright! She began to collaborate with both pop and country artists. Sam Hunt, Alicia Keys, and Charlie XCX are just a few of the artists that she has collaborated with. Andress has been applauded for her “honest and heartbreaking” lyrics by Rolling Stone and The New York Times described her as “steady, calm, alive.” Stay tuned for the official release and follow Ingrid on her social media at @ingridandress and on her website https://www.ingridandress.com.
