Never without music, Madelyn Victoria knew she was on the path to becoming an artist since the day she was born to the sound of country music in the operating room. With her mom as her mentor, Madelyn was writing her own music by the age of thirteen which she later performed as part of a band in her senior year of high school.
Writing of nature and family experiences of her own, Madelyn’s songs reflect her journey as an artist while her honesty gives a sense of relatability to her music. A traditional artist who isn’t afraid of following the trends, Madelyn’s music blends the sounds of old and contemporary country. Such as in her new single Hold On which begins with a modern intro to hook in her listener before sounding traditional in the song’s chorus. A perfect melody along with a story about finding the one, Hold On can attract any listener.
Finding the balance in everything and knowing it all starts with you, Madelyn’s hard work is going to get her far in the music industry. Planning to release another single this fall entitled Right Here With You and setting off on a radio tour, Madelyn is ready to expose her music to as many people as possible.
So make sure to stay up to date with the journey of Madelyn Victoria by finding her music on iTunes and Spotify as well as following her on her socials @madelynvictoria.
I am currently a student at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles as a marketing major. Upon realizing that I wanted to change the way people perceive country music and to help women have a voice, I began The Women of Country in 2015 promoting new female artists and sharing their stories with the world.
