Canadian artist Delta Jackson knew that music was her calling at a young age. Raised in rural British Columbia, Delta spent her childhood exploring the outdoors. In fact Delta took dance lessons as a child, which lead to her interest in performing in musicals. Realizing she enjoyed the musical aspect of theatre, Delta fell down the path of becoming an artist and hasn’t looked back since.
Following in the footsteps of her cousin, Lisa Brokop, Delta began writing songs of her own. She enjoys reflecting on personal stories and sometimes lets her creativity get the best of her creating fictional stories which paint a vivid picture. Just this year, Delta released her self-titled EP which features five tracks. Delta brings to life the story of Johnny and Nancy in her song In Comes Down while the track Rise & Fall gives a personal look at Delta’s challenges and overcomings along her path to becoming an artist. In the future Delta wants to release a full length album to complete the story she’s begun. For now you can find Delta’s music on iTunes and Spotify or via Pledge Music at https://artists.pledgemusic.com/projects/deltajackson.

There will never be an easy route to getting recognized for your talents. Some will even remain a nobody and keep this idea to their graves. I sometimes think people born with a great talent but unable to have a chance to display it, were celebrities in their past lives who can't seem to move on. This is pretty much like that newly translated soul who keep trying to steal a new baby's body just so he can come back to earth right away. It kills the baby in the process. Two souls are lost too. In the case of the unpopular talented human, the will to perform dies with the God given talent they are not able to develop properly.
