 Kassie Jordan of the duo Blue Honey grew up among a southern lifestyle. Later attending Belmont University to follow her passion for singing, Kassie feels right at home in Music City. Kassie started off as a solo artist, until she met current husband Troy Brookes who was playing the same gigs at the time.
As a duo the two seemed to read each other's’ mind and quickly found that they harmonized together as well. The duo, now referred to as Blue Honey, writes about their own personal experiences. With a sound that is hard to put a label on, Blue Honey isn’t afraid of diversity. This latest single August Without Us released this past Friday features an upbeat tune and is easy to sing along to. In a few months the duo plan to release a full EP just before they set off to Norway to perform this summer.
