Despite being a natural born singer at the age of 5, artist Caryn Lee Carter recently picked up the art of songwriting. Inspired by an ex-boyfriend, Caryn found songwriting came easily to her. Often incorporating funny stories of her own, Caryn’s music is upbeat and reflects a modern country style. Inspired by Shania Twain and Sara Evans, Caryn also hopes her music sounds authentic and is relatable to her listeners.
Always the one to jump at the chance to perform, Caryn enjoys connecting with her audience. Though often performing locally, Caryn is prepared to share her music across the nation. Lately she’s been performing in Nashville at the Bluebird Cafe and other venues nearby. Caryn’s self-titled debut EP was released on September 15th and features five tracks which speak to Caryn’s personality and leave you feeling empowered. Following the EP’s release, Caryn’s most recent accomplishment was the making of her first ever music video for her song White Trash Without The Trailer. With her friends by her side and a director who couldn’t help but make everyone laugh, Caryn is confident that her listeners will enjoy every second of it. So don’t wait to buy her debut EP on iTunes or on her website at www.carynleecarter.com.
