A small town girl from a musical family, Audrey Ray was bound to become a singer. Raised in Highland, Michigan Audrey values community and is strongly influenced by her family’s music background. Her dad was in a southern country rock band and Audrey admits that she “grew up in a house where music wasn't just playing, it was BLARING!" After attending concerts in the area, Audrey began to take vocal lessons at Milfered Music with the help of her coach Mary Ann who encouraged her to sing everywhere she went. Inspired by legendary female country artists, the Dixie Chicks and Jewel, Audrey sound is similar to traditional country music. Audrey writes of her own experiences in the hopes to inspire her listeners to take on a positive look at life.
An independent artist, Audrey works hard not only in the studio, but in the office promoting her own music and booking gigs across the country. From opening for Jon Pardi on his “All time High Tour” to performing to a crowd of over 20,000 people with Kelsea Ballerini Audrey, determined to share her music with the world, has done it all. More recently Audrey released her single Back Road Memories which was written on the road with the help of her musical fleet. Working with her band to create Back Road Memories was a magical experience for Audrey as she loves to collaborate with others and share their stories as well. Despite being appreciative of the the journey itself, Audrey is ready for the next chapter in her story. This spring Audrey will be releasing her debut EP and can’t wait to hit the road this summer and share her songs with all of you. So make sure to check out the newest from Audrey Ray and stay tuned for more from this up and coming artist who can be found on her website at http://www.audreyraymusic.com.
