Grab your margarita and listen to Leah Turner’s latest single “Once Upon a Time in Mexico.” Singing since the age of three, music chose her. Influenced by Trisha Yearwood and Linda Ronstalt, Leah’s music reflects her truth and that of her loved ones.
The story of her parent’s falling in love during a time when mixed-racial couples weren’t common and not caring about what society thought, “Once Upon a Time in Mexico” is a celebration of love. Returning to her Latin roots, the music video was shot in Mexico. Embracing the sexy aspect of Latin culture, Leah wants people to know “It’s okay to be sexy and embrace the skin that God has given you, embrace your sexuality.”
Growing up in Palm Springs, Leah is bi-lingual and plans to release a Spanish version of the song. She’s also working on an EP. You can find Leah’s music on all music platforms and on her website here.
