Carolyn Miller Releases Soaring Power Ballad "Why Do I"

Off the heels of two recent music releases and the second installment of our new Nashville-based female showcase series “Women of Country Presents: Carolyn Miller & Friends”, Carolyn Miller delivers a soaring power ballad, “Why Do I,” available now on all streaming platforms. “Why Do I,” penned by Frank Legeay, McCall Chapin, and Nicole Croteau, with production by Legeay and Michael Mechling, showcases a raw and emotional side of Miller, while putting her powerful and pristine vocals on full display in this heartbreaking track.

“So often, heartbreak songs are about a person being left or broken up with” says Miller. “Instead, this song puts the spotlight on the other person and gives the perspective of someone having to be the 'heartbreaker' and how difficult of a struggle it truly is."

Miller was seen last month on tour with Eli Young Band (joining them on stage for "Even If It Breaks Your Heart") and will be headlining Mercury Lounge in New York City on September 17th. The third installment of "The Women Of Country Presents: Carolyn Miller & Friends" will be at 6pm on Tuesday, August 23 at Live Oak in Nashville, TN.
