Rising country artist Carolyn Miller has released her new single, “Strangers In This Bar” out today. This comes on the heels of her viral song "When I Say I Do Today" which achieved over 1.8 million views on TikTok, debuting on the iTunes Country charts at #3 and #4 in the USA, UK, and Australia (#19 all-genre).
The soaring power ballad and fan-favorite track is based on a true story of a past encounter with an ex. "Strangers In This Bar" was co-written by Miller and Christina Taylor, with production by Frank Legeay and Michael Mechling. "This is one of the most personal songs I've ever written," she explains. "It was inspired by a real life experience of running into my ex unexpectedly in my hometown bar. It reflects on the reality that despite years of history, this person that you once held so close ultimately becomes a stranger over time." Miller is “poised to have a banner year” (Music Mayhem Magazine). She was recently announced to join the Barefoot Country Music Festival this summer with Carrie Underwood, Dan + Shay, Zac Brown Band, and more. Additionally, she will be performing the national anthem for the Mets at Citi Field on June 11th, and has more tour and festival dates to be announced soon.
