 Having been on a break from the spotlight while recording her debut album, Candi Carpenter is back with a soulful, festive cover of Merle Haggard's "If We Make It Through December!" This song is refreshingly different from the typical Christmas tune, full of wholeheartedness. The accompanying video is gorgeously reminiscent of 1950's rock n roll glamour, and Candi's voice will just melt you.
Ron Fair, who produced the song, is also producing Candi's heavily anticipated new EP, slated to come out in 2019. Fans can expect compelling storytelling, soaring vocals, lush strings, and a more authentic Candi Carpenter than they've ever heard before. "It's going to be a very dramatic EP, which is appropriate, because I'm a very dramatic person. I can't wait to tour next year and finally share my heart with the world."
