Brenda Burch has released the music video for her song “Big Wide World”, you can check it out here! Brenda wrote this song after she asked herself “what would the world look like if everyone was doing what they loved or what makes them happy? How would that change the world?”. Brenda recorded the song during the pandemic and while she was in Utah, she recorded the song with musicians in Nashville, Tennessee. Some of the people involved in the song are Kyle May (Kelsea Ballerini, Billy Ray Cyrus, Runaway June),Peter Ferguson ( Lucie Silvas and Caylee Hammack), Zachariah Witcher (Brett Eldridge), and Leland Grant (Lindsey Stirling). Burch’s music is no stranger to the music charts. “To me, country music feels like home”. Her 2016 EP “Sparks Will Fly'' reached number 1 on the Hotdisc top 40 chart. Hotdisc is Europe's top Country Music promo service. “The Djs do not play a song if they do not like it. By the time the EP came out, I had all of the songs placed in the top 7”.
Brenda was born and raised in Utah and started singing as a toddler. She first sang live at 3 infront of 2,000 people, and by the time she was 6 years old, she was recorded professionally 6 for an educational film. Burch always had a love for music. “My Dad had a huge vinyl record collection. He loved Elvis (Presley), Patsy (Cline), and Johnny Cash. My Mom loved Lionel Richie. At 12 years old I had a near drowning accident. It was after that I understood music because it was the only thing that calmed my mind”. In addition to her successes on the Hotdisc charts, Brenda sang alongside Darius Rucker and has played in some of the biggest venues in the world! Her favorite venue to play was the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan. “It was for a convention and it was filled with over 30,000 people. I remember seeing one man in the audience with his family and he had tears in his eyes. I love connecting my music with the audience”.
