Whether in boots or heels, Bree Jaxson is a force to be reckoned with. Afghan Combat Veteran-Country Artist Bree Jaxson released her newest single, “Country Heart City Roots” on May 14th. Jaxson has spent the last ten years serving in the United States Air Force building bombs, rockets and missiles. She is now the Deputy Commander for CyberSpace Operations for the TXANG. Amidst serving our Country, Jaxson has stayed true to her passion of music. She will be releasing her upcoming debut E.P “This is Me” this year.
In her recent single, “Country Heart City Roots” Jaxson sings that she’s, “A city chick and a little more.” Being a native of Baltimore, Maryland it’s hard to imagine there are too many tailgate parties out in the country while singing around the fire. However, after listening to the song it’s hard to believe Jaxson wasn’t born and raised in the South! “Stiletto heels or cowboy boots I got a Country Heart and City Roots.” I’m pretty sure that Miranda Lambert would welcome Bree Jaxson right into her inner circle. “Country Heart City Roots” proves that no matter where you come from, your heart wants what the heart wants. And that might just be the country! Jaxson’s experiences in life have taught her that music can help you get through anything. That is what she is hoping that fans will get out of her newest music releases. Stay up to date with Bree Jaxson at her website or by following her on all streaming platforms. Author: Haley Moloney
