Miranda did absolutely nothing this year. She said herself she took 8 months off. And even though Sony got PA album nominated it had awful sales. As does her new album. She’s had less radio success than Carrie. But the real problem is that for 10 years only 2 women were promoted by country music-Miranda and Carrie. And both on the same label for many years. There were other talented women artists but they weren’t touted like these two.

I’m with you on this. Another artist being pushed down people’s throats despite lackluster sales. Lots of “push” behind her, not a ton of actual interest. Dismal streaming numbers.

Decade means 10 years. It has nothing to do with Miranda taking off 8 months. Love Ashley but she really only become well known this year.

This is the craziest comment I have ever heard. Overrated? She is the queen of country music and a phenomenal singer/songwriter that will go down in history. Wildcard is another stellar album. Honestly I love Ashley but she isn’t a decade artist right now so this really is not a fair poll. I’m not saying your opinion doesn’t count but cmon, Miranda is everything!!

Totally agree!! Miranda die hard. She has been killing it ALL decade. Love Ashley and she will continue to climb thru next decade 2020 and beyond

I agree that Miranda is overrated and she chases genres and calls herself an innovator. She was all about bro country when it was hot, then started putting it down when the popular set criticized it. Give me Ashley, Carrie, Kacey. Kelsea. All have better voices and are better songwriters imo. They are also last, nice to everyone and not afraid to actually own what they like.

I completely laugh at this statement full of absolute nonsense. She is one of the best songwriters there is. You obviously no nothing about country music. And if you think some of the ones you named are better songwriters or artist especially country artist not pop then more power to you.. but as I have always said everyone is entitled to their opinion and nothing wrong with that so we will just have to completely disagree..

Nobody's been as talented a songwriter or singer in the last ten years as Ashley. I love Miranda, but stick me on a desert island with one record, and it has to be Ashley's.

I love Ashley but I have only know about her for maybe 2 years. She isn’t a decade artist yet. Maybe another 10 years yes.. They are both awesome artist but sorry Miranda easily is the decade artist...

We got to interview Ashley McBride in 2018 and this was before she went to the top. We LOVE Miranda but our vote is for Ashley.

I LOVE Ashley but c'mon.....this is artist of the DECADE....since 2010. There is no way Ashley should even be in this category with just 1 major label album in 10 years!

Ashley McBride is really good and upcoming, for sure But only Miranda Lambert comes thru time and time again. I don't understand how this voting is actually fair. How can Gwen Stefani 'a fans ruin such a moment like this. Hatred is an evil force that shouldn't be a part of someone's hard work and devotion. I 'm just so disappointed in society
