Proud to have been raised in Stamford Connecticut where she was introduced to musical theatre, Julia Capogrossi grew up singing and hasn’t slowed down since. Suiting her fun and active lifestyle Julia quickly fell in love with country music, often writing of times spent enjoying herself among friends in the summertime. Building songs that are relatable and easy to dance along to is exactly what gives Julia’s music the power to inspire her fans.
Always smiling Julia is constantly networking with others. Having moved to Nashville Julia is learning the importance of connections and continues to expand her brand as an artist each and everyday.
Recently Julia released her debut EP ‘What I’m Thinking’ and we’re thinking it’s the perfect way to get any party started. Featuring a edgy sound, the EP encompasses all that Julia is about. Available now ‘What I’m Thinkin’ can be found on Spotify and on her website at www.juliacapogrossi.com.

I am currently a student at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles as a marketing major. Upon realizing that I wanted to change the way people perceive country music and to help women have a voice, I began The Women of Country in 2015 promoting new female artists and sharing their stories with the world.
