 Author: Charles Hacker Angel Edwards has released her latest song, “Lighters”, you can check it out here! Angel Edwards was raised in Toledo, Ohio. Her parents were and still are very supportive, especially with her music career, and she believes she would not be anywhere without them. Around age 5 Angel’s mom made her do chores around the house so to pass the time, she made up songs. Edwards looks up to Carrie Underwood and Dolly Parton for their extraordinary vocal talent.
The new song, “Lighters” came from an idea Angel had with her brother. “I have had the idea for over a decade and since we are all missing the magic of a live concert and the moment when people put their lighters up in the crowd”. Edwards loves performing as she can connect with the audience while telling a story, and dreams of playing the Ryman Auditorium and the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee. Angel wants aspiring artists to know that they should “take the risk, especially while you are young, you will want to throw in the towel, but keep going”.
