Amy Wilcox spent years honing her craft as a songwriter and performer. While living in Nashville she landed a residency at the legendary venue, Third & Lindsley in addition to opening for country icons Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, and Kellie Pickler. Her name may also be familiar to some as she was on A&E's popular series Crazy Hearts: Nashville, which all eventually led to her signing with Blue Elan Records and a move out to Los Angeles. Her debut EP, WEST, will be released in early 2019.
Amy started her cover video series last month-- calling it "Something Old, Something New, Something True" with the first - a cover of The Chainsmokers - featuring Kelsea Ballerina - song, "This Feeling" and the second release was a cover of her favorite Elvis song, "Can't Help Falling in Love." Her something True is our featured video, a beautiful cover of Lauv's "Never Not"

I am currently a student at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles as a marketing major. Upon realizing that I wanted to change the way people perceive country music and to help women have a voice, I began The Women of Country in 2015 promoting new female artists and sharing their stories with the world.
