Amanda Cooksey's bubbly pop-country persona shines through in the music video for her newest single, “In Denial.” Filmed right outside of her hometown in Florida, the video amplifies the 50’s inspired melody, written by Cooksey and her co-writers Michael August, Austin Nivarel and Steve Lester. The idea behind the video was inspired by Cooksey’s own experience and that period after a breakup when it can be hard to accept that the relationship is actually over. “The idea was to throw my metaphorical 'baggage' into the ocean and forget that my heart was ever broken. I think one of my favorite details in the video is the 'if found please do not return to Amanda Cooksey' tag on the luggage I was carrying. I am so grateful that Kolby Copeland was able to capture what denial looked and felt like to me in this video and can't wait for people to see it,” said Cooksey. Watch the video below.
