Alyssa Marie Coon has released her brand-new song! “Put it Down” can be heard here. When Alyssa was 6 years old, her life has revolved around music. “I started playing music by learning classical piano and singing. Then I learned guitar, ukulele, and then the drums. Pretty much since I could walk and talk, I have loved music”. When Alyssa was 2, her parents noticed that she loved singing songs and music from the Wizard of Oz. After this they put her in piano and vocal lessons. “I did not want to pursue music fully, until I saw Danielle Bradbery on The Voice. She inspired me greatly to start singing country music and sing”.
Alyssa grew up on country music and sings “country pop music with a little bit of country twang but mostly focusing on the pop backgrounds with elements that make up country songs”. In addition to Danielle Bradbery, Alyssa looks up to Kelsea Ballerini and Taylor Swift. Alyssa has been performing a ton and loves sharing her story through music to others. She currently plays at Blake Shelton’s bar Ole Red in Orlando, Florida. The born and raised Floridian artist has worked with Saxman Studios and Ridenour Studios, both in Nashville, Tennessee. Alyssa wants aspiring artists to know that they should “never give up and that they can accomplish anything if they put their heart and mind to it. You can find her music on all streaming platforms and on her website here.
