Born in Massachusetts and raised in Western Canada, Suzie Ungerleider began performing under the name Oh Susanna in the mid-1990s, winning instant praise for her debut album Johnstown in 1999, which she remastered and reissued last year to mark its 20th anniversary. Suzie had been quietly working as a clerk at a Vancouver library when in 1996 she self-released a cassette tape of seven songs recorded for just $200, and found herself besieged by music industry executives and agents after performing a tiny set at a local club.
She just announced the deluxe edition of her stunning critically acclaimed album Sleepy Little Sailor on MVKA. Released on September 4th 2020, the album will be available on CD, Digital and, for the first time, on vinyl. The original 11 songs are accompanied by acoustic recordings of 5 of the songs from the album including the title track, “Everything was done very delicately,” she explains. “I was singing softly in a way I had never really sun before. I was searching for something dreamy and introverted. I remember that there was this feeling that the whole process was fragile. We had to capture the performance. The emotions had to be palpable. It had to give you a feeling of transcendence.”

KShip is a true artist as she creates from her heart and navigates back and forth between the country music and christian contemporary genres. With many notable awards under her belt since 2017 she is one of the fastest growing indie artists in the country and christian genre. Her new single, “Your Love Is Enough” was released on June 5th. “Your Love Is Enough” is a song that captures and conveys the beauty of God's Love. The song is laced with themes of grace, redemption and speaks of the tenderness of God. It sings of the salvation and the victory of our faith. In all seasons of our life, our failures and victories, God's love will always be enough. Kathryn’s vocals are pure, and as inspiring and uplifting as the lyrics. Kathryn recorded her vocals remote in her homestate of Missouri due to covid19. It was important to Kathryn to release this single ahead of schedule with the hope that it will help people recognize that we are in this together and we have God. "This song is so special to me.. It took so many twists and turns to get recorded because of Covid-19 and I knew that a music video was on the horizon.. (what I live for!) Then the senseless pain we are seeing as a country with the tragic and wrongful deaths, of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Brionna Taylor just in the last few months that the nation has witnessed via media .. my heart was sinking it still is.. it reminded me how far we have not moved forward in our mindsets and hearts.. This song makes you want to listen to the lyrics over and over.. It is true what the songwriters deemed this to be.. a song of Grace, Redemption our failures and our victories. Let this song open hearts, shift the way we treat people and most of all capture the essence of Love the way God has intended us to do so..." Pop-country singer Madysyn started singing before she could talk. Growing up in California, she was first introduced to the stage by her dad at the age of five to perform a Christmas duet. By the time she was twelve, her dad posted a clip of her singing and it went viral. From there she knew she wanted to pursue a career in music. Raised on country music, but also idols John Meyer and Tori Kelly, Madysyn’s sound is her own. Her music tells her story and often starts with a title in mind. During the pandemic, Madysyn has been able to write a new song every day and looks forward to releasing an EP in 2021. In the meantime, listen to her latest single “Girlfriend.” An upbeat song to instill confidence in a relationship, Madysyn hopes it can raise people’s spirits saying -- “Music is undeniably powerful in the way that it brings people together when they need it the most. With everything going on in the world right now, I hope that this song and video can raise people’s spirits.” To accompany the release, Madysyn premiered the music video on April 2nd.
