CMA Fest might be a huge leap for most up-and-coming artists, but for Remy Garrison it’s like a homecoming. That’s because she has been traveling back and forth to Nashville from Birmingham, Alabama since she was 15. Having started off playing on Broadway at Tootsie’s and Honky Tonk Central, even before she was legal, her playing CMA Fest is a full circle moment. Comfortable with the hustle and bustle of Nashville, she can enjoy the nostalgia and play her music without reserve. She told us she is delighted not only to be playing music in the city, but also to have the opportunity to watch her favorite country artists. She shared she could not wait to stop by Spotify House at Ole Red to catch Shaboozey and then go catch a full medley of artists at Nissan Stadium. She deeply appreciates how welcoming the country music community has been to her over the years and could not stop speaking about how exciting it was for her to play at CMA Fest again this year, particularly to play her new song “Sweet ‘N Low.”
And do not let the song’s title fool you—it is a clever, sassy, up-beat, pop-country tune that you will likely be blasting in your car all summer long. When we first caught up with Remy at CMA Fest, she was, ironically, drinking a Celsius Energy Drink. Ironic because it was her dislike of artificial sweeteners that inspired “Sweet ‘N Low. The song explores what happens as a relationship begins to leave a sour taste in your mouth. As Remy sees it, you are originally drawn in by all the sweet talking, but if there is no substance behind the talk you eventually realize how fake the situation is. As Remy states so beautifully in the song, you cannot exactly pinpoint what is wrong with the relationship, but “that recipe ain’t right.” You can check out “Sweet ‘N Low” HERE.

Country music’s rising powerhouse Emily Ann Roberts delivers her most emotionally compelling release to date with the brand-new single, “The Fence,” out everywhere today. Listen here: https://orcd.co/thefence.
Produced by Brandon Hood and co-written with hitmakers Jessi Alexander and Paul Sikes, “The Fence” pairs Emily Ann’s unmistakable vocals with striking honesty and emotional depth. Her gift for storytelling shines brighter than ever, making this one of her most powerful releases to date—a track that promises to give listeners chills with every play. The song has already struck a chord with fans, earning over 1 million views on social media ahead of its official release. “Sometimes in love everything makes sense on paper, but no matter how hard you try to convince yourself, you know deep down it’s just not the right fit. When I wrote this song with Jessi Alexander and Paul Sikes we put ourselves in the moment of trying to tell yourself it’s perfect and then fighting with the fears and doubts that it may not be,” said Emily Ann. "That is the kind of song that will put you where you've always wanted to be. To see your dreams come true. That is wonderful." - Bill Cody, WSM 650 AM/Grand Ole Opry He’s sippin that Kentucky Staring at the setting sun One part of me feels lucky one part wants to run When he hears the tin roof raining I feel a restless wind There's a good man on the porch And I’m on the fence This release follows a breakthrough year for Roberts, whose singles “Scratching Out a Living” and “Easy Does It” earned praise from US Weekly, SiriusXM’s The Highway, and CMT Hot 20 Countdown’s Heatseeker, among others. She recently shared the stage with country heavyweights including Blake Shelton, Cody Johnson, Megan Moroney, and Clint Black. Country music’s most vibrant female duo Maddie & Tae today released their fourth studio album Love & Light via Mercury Nashville. The album release comes after the duo played an electrifying first-ever headlining show at Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium to a packed hometown crowd (5/1/25). The 16-track album features the new song “Chasing Babies & Raising Dreams.” The song’s official music video, which features footage of Maddie, Tae and their families, is out now and made its broadcast debut on Paramount’s Times Square Billboard and is now in rotation across CMT Channels. Produced by Josh Kerr, Chris LaCorte, and Corey Crowder, Love & Light provides stories of resilience, confidence, vulnerability, and the ever-enduring bond of friendship and sisterhood Maddie & Tae have formed over the years. Together, they have grown up, started families, seen the world, and faced career highs and lows. Those life lessons and wisdom are reflected throughout Love & Light.

Rising country songstress Karley Scott Collins is a “Runner” on her latest release, available now. Listen HERE.
Co-written with Sam Backoff, Zane Callister, and Ashley Ray, the piano-driven ballad is a personal tale of dealing with scars after love is lost. “I wrote ‘Runner’ about my first heartbreak. They always say the first cut is the deepest and it really was for me,” shared Collins. “It took me 7 years to figure out how to write this song, and it’s about how when someone hurts you so deeply, you look for the worst parts of them in everyone else you try to love in the future.” Named an artist to watch by the Nashville Briefing, Collins was recently announced as an opener on Keith Urban’s 2025 HIGH AND ALIVE TOUR across the U.S. and Canada. Kicking off May 22 in Orange Beach, AL, Collins will support on more than 40 dates. Visit KarleyScottCollins.com for schedule and tickets. She will also perform tomorrow night (Feb. 1) on the Grand Ole Opry and at Tortuga Music Festival in April. Only Shaylen can write herself into a song. HEAR “TO TELL YOU THE TRUTH” NOW “‘To Tell You The Truth’ means a lot to me for many reasons,” shares Shaylen. “I was actually really sick the day that we wrote this song and honestly, shouldn’t have gone into the write that day. But I just had this strong feeling that there was a song to be written and I had to write it.” She adds, “I wanted to convey how it feels when you’re at the most vulnerable stage of a breakup where part of you doesn’t want to tell the person you miss them while the other part wants to risk it all and call them, even though they broke your heart. There was such a special energy in the room with my co-writers Lindsay Rimes, Conor Matthews and Seth Ennis that day and this crew brought it all together better than I could’ve imagined. I’m so excited for this song to be my first official release with Nashville Harbor!” WATCH “TO TELL YOU THE TRUTH” VIDEO HERE The excitement surrounding Shaylen continues to soar, as she sets her Grand Ole Opry Debut for October 5.
